OvDx Maintenance Updates June 4, 2023

We will update the service during our weekly maintenance window as described in our service update policy here. The update will include the following changes.

Fixes

  • [OVDX-10310] We fixed an issue that occurred when required text fields or custom attributes contained only spaces. In this case Req Form verification is disallowed, but the user interface was not indicating that those fields needed to have text in them (and not just spaces).
  • [OVDX-10532] We fixed various issues in the COVID-19, Infectious Disease and ASP analytics reports:
    • Reports will now show current values rather than the values that were present at the time the report was signed. So, for example, a name change will now be reflected correctly in the report.
    • Previously, certain requisition modifications (such as changing the identifier or the test panels) could result in that requisition being included redundantly in the reports. Now, each requisition will only be included once.
    • We addressed multiple things about how LOINC codes are included in the COVID-19 and Infectious Disease reports: this information is now included regardless of the test result (before, it was empty if the result wasn't positive); only the LOINCs for tests are now included in the "Test Result (LOINC)" field (before, LOINCs for test panels were listed there too); LOINCs for test panels are now in a separate field called "Test Panel Result (LOINC)"; and only the LOINCs for the executed tests are included (before, all of the tests selected on the requisition were included).
    • We fixed an error in the calculation of the patient's age in the COVID-19 and Infectious Disease reports. Before, the age was calculated through the date on which the report was generated and it rounded incorrectly. Now it calculates the age through the sample collection date (and rounds correctly).
    • Records in the COVID-19 and Infectious Disease reports are now in decreasing order of when the patient report was created. Previously, the COVID-19 report had no consistent order and the Infectious Disease report was ordered by the requisition' identifier and the test panel name. The ASP is now ordered by test panel name and organism name, whereas before it had no consistent order.
