Disabling Chrome Auto-fill
If you are a Chrome browser user, you may have noticed the Autofill feature seems to be working in a much more robust manner. This is a result of a recent Chrome update.
While this can be a useful feature, it creates a risk of unintentionally populating data fields that are manually entered into a requisition. For this reason, we strongly recommend disabling the Chrome Autofill feature to maintain data integrity.
To disable Autofill in Chrome, please follow these steps:
- Click the 3 dots in the top right corner of your browser window, and select Settings from the dropdown menu
Tip: There will be a popup instead of dots if your browser is not up-to-date
- On the left side of the page select Autofill, then select Addresses and more
- Here you can toggle the blue icon to the off position
Tip: When the setting is turned off, the icon will be grey
That’s it! Autofill has now been turned off.
