Modifying File Exchange Routes and Actions

Modify a Route

You can return to the routes and actions you created to review or modify their definition at any time.

After selecting the file Exchange integration:

  1. Select the Routes tab

  2. Table Field Usage
    Name The name you’ve given this route; click here to view and modify the route
    Type The type of route: Inbound or Outbound
    Status The integration’s status: Enabled or Disabled
    See below for more information about enabling and disabling Routes.
    Health The route’s health: Healthy or Unhealthy
    A route is considered Unhealthy if any of the last ten events failed, otherwise it is Healthy.
    Last Event When the last event for this route occurred
    Event Log This is a link directly to the Event Log for this integration, filtered to only show the events for this route. See here for more information about event logs.
    [...] Select the ellipsis and then select Delete to remove this route.
  3. Select the name of the route to review or modify its definition.
  4. Make the desired changes to the route. (See details under Creating a Route above.)
  5. To review or modify an action in the route:
    1. Select the Select an Action button. (The first action will already be selected; use this to access any others.)
    2. Make the desired changes to the action.
  6. Save the route.

Disable a Route

To disable a route so that it will temporarily stop operating without losing its configuration. After selecting the file exchange integration:

  1. Select the Routes tab
  2. Select the name of the Route you want to disable.
  3. Toggle off the Enabled switch.

Re-enable a Route

To re-enable a route after it was disabled. After selecting the file exchange integration:

  1. Select the routes tab
  2. Select the name of the route you want to disable.
  3. Toggle on the Enabled switch.

Delete a Route

To delete a route, which will remove it and its configuration from Ovation. After selecting the file exchange integration:

  1. Select the routes tab
  2. Find the row for the route you want to delete.
  3. Select the ellipsis and select Delete.

Note: Disable the route rather than deleting it if you want the system to remember the configuration so that you can later re-enable it.
