Infectious Disease Analytics Report

This article describes how to generate the Ovation Infectious Disease analytics report. This analytics report contains patient demographic information and results for all infectious disease type tests.

A user must have the following levels of permissions in order to access this report:

• Analytics permission: Read, Write or Admin to view the Analytics menu
• Infectious Disease permission: Read to view reports; Write or Admin to create reports 

How to Generate, Download and View Reports

1. Go to Analytics (from top menu bar) > Infectious Disease

Note: If you have set up the appropriate permissions and still do not see Infectious Disease as an available option from the Analytics drop-down, please contact support@ovation.io to enable this feature. 

2. Click the green Generate Report button 

3. If needed, refine the search by Workflow, Provider Account, Providers, Test Panel and/or Tests

4. Choose the date range and click Submit

• The date range refers to the date that the most recent patient report for a requisition was signed
• Date ranges may not exceed 13 months. If you need a date range greater than 13 months, contact support@ovation.io

5. Click the green hyperlink in the Name column to download the report (.csv format)

• The report will contain data within the generation parameters specified and that have any of the following result-types: infectious-disease, infectious-disease-mpx, uti, wh, covid-19, or covid-19-variant
• To determine the result-type of test results, go the the Project of the requisition > Settings tab > choose applicable requisition template > Reports > find the applicable report configuration and check the value for “result_type”
