OvDx Maintenance Updates August 17, 2025

We will update the service during our weekly maintenance window as described in our service update policy here. The update will include the following changes.

Fixes

  • [OVDX-11374] We discovered that Zebra printers may skip characters if they encounter an '_' so we changed Global ID Barcode generation to never include that character.
  • [OVDX-11264] We fixed an issue where users with sufficient permissions were not able to download HL7 files from the Integration Event Log that were created by other users.
  • [OVDX-11256] We fixed an issue where the status of a complete requisition would get reset to "processing" if it were deleted and then undeleted.
  • [OVDX-11242] We fixed an issue that did not allow a requisition to be saved in certain rare cases resulting from how we maintain ICD-10 codes.

Other changes for our ORN partners

  • [OVDX-10278] We fixed an issue where deidentified samples in shipments that have been saved (but not submitted) could no longer be updated.
