OvDx Maintenance Updates September 17, 2023

We will update the service during our weekly maintenance window as described in our service update policy here. The update will include the following changes.

Fixes

• [OVDX-10693] We fixed an issue where a failed requisition import that modified existing requisitions would sometimes generate audit records for changes that were not actually applied.
• [OVDX-10590] We fixed an issue where users were unable to update provider accounts with no fax number even if the option to fax signed reports was not on for that provider account. This issue did not impact customers taking advantage of early access for the Improved Provider Accounts functionality (link).
• [OVDX-10550] You can now set the state in a US address to a non-state postal code, such as VI or PR, through the API, when creating a requisition from an HL7 file and when importing requisitions from a CSV file.
• [OVDX-10486] We fixed an issue where the Processing status on a requisition would be left in the Processing state when an activity in a second workflow that does not generate a report was redone after all the workflows for the sample had been completed.
• [OVDX-10414] We fixed an issue where sample collection and received dates imported from CSV would, in most US timezones, be off by an hour when they were after 2:00 AM on the date that daylight savings time started or ended.
• [OVDX-10413] The "Last Event" field in the integration event log is now correctly shown in Safari.
• [OVDX-10706] We fixed several recently introduced issues affecting systems configured to send HL7 messages for billing:
  - If the system was configured to send an HL7 message upon verifying the Req Form, that message would be sent twice upon the verification.
  - The HL7 message files would be added to the requisitions Supplement Documents folder. (And then, if the system was configured to send files from that folder, it would also send the HL7 message again.)
  - The event log would show incorrect file names for these events.
